As a company, NORDSEE covers the entire spectrum of fish products and, after more than 120 years, has established a unique position as a gourmet harbour that stands for variety, first-class quality and responsible use of fish as a resource.
Our company currently has 366 locations worldwide. There are 308 shops in Germany, 31 in Austria and a further 27 in the rest of Europe. In 2019, around 17 million guests visited our shops and generated around 71 million customer transactions. Global system sales totalled around 329.3 million euros.
We have also offered our own franchise model since 2001. Of the total of 366 locations, 152 are currently operated by franchise partners in Germany and abroad. The trend is rising, as we have increasingly focussed on expanding the franchise system in Germany in recent years.
NORDSEE has around 3,000 employees in its own branches in Germany and Austria, including 70 trainees. The franchise partners employ a further 1,000 staff.
